Baked Fish and Vegetables

Serves: 6


6 fish steaks
2 large onions, sliced thin
6 tablespoons butter or pareve margarine
Salt and pepper
1 can Manischewitz® Tomato and Mushroom Sauce
1 cup diced celery, cooked
2 cups sliced carrots, cooked
4 cups diced potatoes, cooked


Arrange onion on bottom of large baking pan. Place fish steaks on top of onions; dot with 2 tablespoons of the butter or margarine. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour on tomato and mushroom sauce. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees F) for 15 minutes. Add well-drained vegetables. Dot with remaining butter or margarine. Bake 20 minutes longer, basting occasionally.
